SO my current WIP (work in progress) is a slow process. I have a critique group helping me edit. Its finished but needs work before I can publish it. I want to have a 3 book series in this DYSTOPIAN venture. Was wondering about the cover too?
What do you people like to read? What books have captured your imagination and stayed with you long after you finished? That is what I want to do with my books. Has a book ever drawn you in because you liked the cover? Have you read something you wouldn't usually read because of the blurb on the back?
The thing about writing is... It's not easy. It's very difficult to get it right.
Here is my working blurb... would you read this?
With the death of her mentor Milton, Shal the current historian is questioning everything in her life. It’s 2225 and the world is sadly contained onto 7 domes of survivors. With the death of Milton, is the rebellion squashed or even more determined? Shal takes on a project to help the Magistrate, Newton the 2nd to imagine a different future as she becomes ensconced in a world beyond the domes. Can Shall make a difference and bring the globe out of the limited existence of the past, or could she be discovered and put to death because of her findings?
In this dystopian romance, Shall begins to find a family created by choice and that all she has taught might be lies. She and her band of friends try to bring the World into a brighter future to face all that her discoveries uncover.
