Praise for this book

Every town has a history. Some are more interesting than others. I've always wanted to learn more about Kansas City since that's where my mom was born and I got a complete snapshot of what life was like in 1917. Kudos to these ladies who feel so passionate about their city. I loved it.

This well-written anthology has sixteen unique stories by fourteen authors. Each author wrote in a different period, starting in 1821 and ending in 2007. They mixed fiction with Kansas City history in a teachable and enjoyable read.
